Website Analytics

We collect anonymous website-usage information such as pages viewed, links selected, referral source, approximate city or region, device type, and time spent on the site. We use this information to understand how visitors find and use HandyNauts.com and to improve the website. When the hosting provider does not supply an approximate city, a visitor's IP address may be sent securely to IPWhoIs solely to translate it into an approximate city, state or region, and country. HandyNauts does not store the IP address in its analytics database. Our analytics do not store visitor names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

AI Chat and Service Requests

Selecting Start chat after the chat notice authorizes HandyNauts to send chat messages and uploaded photos to OpenAI for replies and preliminary photo review. When you provide a ZIP code, that ZIP code alone may be sent to Zippopotam.us to look up its postal city and state. Chat conversations are retained for up to 30 days and removed during routine chat maintenance. If you submit a service request, the transcript, contact details, project details and photos are retained with that request for team follow-up and business records. Photos uploaded through chat go to our team for review. For categories with AI photo review enabled, uploaded photos may also be sent to OpenAI to help identify visible items, materials, condition and readable product labels. No separate privacy or AI photo checkbox is required after selecting Start chat. AI photo findings require team verification and do not confirm wildlife clearance, hidden damage or structural safety. We use a secure session cookie and hashed network identifiers to prevent abuse. AI answers may need verification; appointment requests require team confirmation.

SMS Privacy

No mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Service Providers and Legal Requirements

We may use service providers that help us host the website, deliver communications, store submitted files, and operate our business. They may process information only as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
